WELCOME TO THE 2017 EASTERN UNIVERSITY GAMES!
This event is for university and TAFE students from New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory and is the largest of four regional university Games events to be held on the same week in July. The 2017 Eastern University Games will be hosted by Newcastle in partnership with Newcastle City Council and The University of Newcastle.
Since its inception, the Eastern University Games has been renowned for providing a friendly but competitive environment for student athletes from all over New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory. Owned by Australian University Sport (AUS), the peak governing body of university sport in Australia, the Games are a key event on the eastern university sporting calendar.
Recognised as the perfect opportunity for student athletes to compete in a participation based event against like minded students from across the east region, the Games has built up a reputation as an event not to be missed, attracting over 2,700 competitors each year.
