Golf

Golf is an individual sport played as an open competition across 4 rounds.

Golf is not a qualification sport for the Australian University Games and as such individuals do not need to qualify at their Regional University Games event.

Tee off times will be available online a week prior to EUGs.

    • Wednesday 5 July: Merewether Golf Club, 12:30pm
    • Thursday 6 July: Waratah Golf Club, 9:30am

    Facilities: Local 18 hole golf course with clubhouse and pro shop facilities.

    Catering: Limited bistro facilities are available. 

    Sports Medicine: Specific sports medicine staff will not be provided for this venue. Venue staff will implement first aid if required.

    Facilities: Local 18 hole golf course with clubhouse and pro shop facilities.

    Catering: Bistro facilities are available in the clubhouse from 11:00am - 2:30pm.

  • Duties & Uniform

    Duties & Uniform

    Australian University Sport (AUS) conducts its competitions under the official playing rules and regulations implemented by the national sporting organisation for that sport. However, AUS events are unique and hence there are often variations that are implemented.

    Uniform and duty requirements are addressed in the relevent sport rules.

    Note: These rules are subject to change following AUS review in 2017

    Golf carts will not be permitted at the 2017 Eastern University Games.

    All players must adhere to the Australian University Sport dress code in addition to the venue dress code.

    Players must supply their own golf balls. Balls and other equipment are available for sale at the pro-shop on site.
